Employee is struck by auger housing and fractures foot
At 7:45 a.m. on March 30, 2017, an employee was helping remove the lower cover/guard housing on an auger conveyor. Once the housing was sitting on the ground, it was discovered that the housing could not slide away because it had 3 legs welded to the housing. While trying to slide it, the end with the single leg broke and the housing fell on the employee's foot, fracturing it.
