At 12:45 p.m. on May 12. 2018, Employee #1 and a coworker were connecting new air conditioning ductwork in the attic of a residential home. There were exposed wiring and outlets close to the metal ductwork for the HVAC unit hookup. Employee #1 kneeled on a metal gas line and then placed his hand on the 110-120 volt HVAC air handling unit. Employee #1 was electrocuted, calling out for help. The coworker exited the attic to get help, which the main breaker was disconnected. However, it was too late, Employee #1 did not survive. survive.
