Employee is struck by a heated metal pipe and fractures arm
On April 20, 2018, an employee had heated a metal pipe/bracket assembly to 900 degrees Fahrenheit using an Oxyacetylene torch. The employee's left forearm was struck by a 2 ? diameter metal plate installed inside of the bracket assembly was ejected and severely fractured his arm. The employee was hospitalized and he had to amputate his left arm to his elbow at a later date.
