The employee tested positive between August 17 but his last day of work was August 15 when the symptoms appeared. The employee worked with the manager on his last day of work. The employee continued going to work while being unvaccinated and having been in close contact with a COVID-positive individual. The employee first showed COVID-19 symptoms on August 20 and was hospitalized on August 21, 2021. The employee died at 8:00 p.m. on August 22, 2021.
